Are you tired of feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, and stuck in mommy survival mode? Maybe you know what would help, but you struggle to stay consistent long enough to see any results. Do you feel guilty when you prioritize yourself instead of maintaining everyone else's expectations?
You're not alone.
Welcome to Habit Stacking Mom, the podcast that helps overwhelmed moms create consistency and confidence by organizing their habits, routines, and responsibilities more intentionally.
Hi, I'm Jess, a wife, stay-at-home mom of three girls, and creator of the Habit Stacked Life.
For years I lived in a cycle of burnout, frustration, and constantly feeling behind. I wasted time, struggled to follow through on routines, carried the mental load alone, and felt like I was always reacting to life instead of leading it.
Everything changed when I stopped trying to fix everything at once and started focusing on consistently stacking simple habits together each day. Because small habits repeated consistently create bigger results than big plans that never get implemented.
This podcast will help you create simple routines, build consistency in the areas that matter most, prioritize your health and well-being, reduce overwhelm, manage your home more intentionally, and create systems that balance the life you actually want to live.
Each week you'll learn practical strategies, habit-stacking experiments, simple planning systems, and realistic routines designed specifically for busy moms.
The goal isn't perfection. It's creating habits that help you show up with more energy, more balance, more confidence, and more consistency in the areas that matter most.
So grab your earbuds and let's get stacking.

Are you hoping to make progress on your goals this summer but worried life is going to get in the way? Do you feel like summer keeps happening to you instead of feeling like a season you're intentionally creating?
In this episode, I'm walking you through a simple Summer Brainstorm Stack that will help you stop reacting to the season and start planning it with purpose. We talk about why so many moms end summer feeling disappointed, not because they didn't do enough, but because they never stopped to define what success actually looked like for their family. I'll walk you through five questions to help you identify what matters most this summer, choose your top three Summer Wins, and begin breaking those goals down into realistic actions that fit inside your actual life and schedule.
Ultimately, I'm challenging you to stop leaving your summer up to chance. Set aside time this weekend to think, reflect, and create a simple plan for what you want this season to look like. Then choose three meaningful wins and begin building them into your week so that by August you're looking back with confidence instead of wondering where the time went.
Let’s partner together because momming is not easy, but it's way harder when you keep trying to do it alone. I know you're ready to put those babies to bed.... It's time to pop in your ear pods, shake up your fizz and let’s get stacking.

Are you feeling pressure to make this the "best summer ever" for your kids? Have you ever looked around at what everyone else is doing and wondered if you're doing enough?
As moms, we're exposed to more information, more ideas, and more opportunities than ever before. While that can be a beautiful thing, it can also create an invisible pressure to constantly do more, plan more, and create more experiences for our families. We'll dive into how social media has changed motherhood, why goal-oriented moms often turn summer into another project to manage, and how guilt quietly sneaks in when we're measuring ourselves against expectations we never intentionally chose.
Ultimately, I'm challenging you to take a closer look at the pressure you're carrying this summer. Is it coming from your actual circumstances, or is it coming from expectations you've absorbed along the way?
If today's episode resonated with you, make sure you come back for Focus Stack Thursday where we'll continue this conversation and help you put these insights into perspective for your own summer.

Hey Momma! This is our very first Focus Stack Thursday episode, we are taking Monday’s conversation and putting it into action with a simple weekend stack challenge. We’re diving into how habit stacking can actually help repair your SAHM routines by identifying the routines that are no longer working for the season you’re in. I’m walking you through how to evaluate the “cost” of broken routines, how to identify the biggest bottlenecks in your day, and why some habits are quietly creating ripple effects that are making your mornings and evenings feel chaotic.
Ultimately, I’m challenging you to slow down long enough to evaluate the sequence itself and start identifying where your routines are breaking down. This weekend’s Focus Stack Challenge is all about zooming in on one routine, identifying what it’s costing you, and beginning the process of rebuilding it one habit at a time so your days can start feeling smoother, calmer, and more supportive again.
If you haven’t already, make sure you print out the Weekly Focus Guide and work through the challenge over the weekend. I’d absolutely love to hear what comes up for you while you walk through this process, so send me a message over on Instagram and let me know where you’re noticing the biggest bottlenecks in your routines right now.
Let’s partner together because momming is not easy, but it’s way harder when you keep trying to do it alone. This is your reset… it’s time to pop in your ear pods, drop the stress, and let’s get stacking.

Hey Momma, do you ever feel mentally exhausted before noon even though you’ve barely had a second to sit down? Are you constantly getting interrupted, switching tasks, and wondering why you feel so scattered all the time?
In this episode, we’re kicking off the brand-new summer podcast format and diving into one of the biggest tension points overwhelmed moms face every single day: constant interruptions. I’m sharing how interruptions quietly create mental exhaustion, why unfinished “open loops” leave us feeling scattered, and how routines actually help reduce mental chaos instead of creating more pressure.
Ultimately, I’m challenging you to stop viewing routines and planning as restrictive and start seeing them as support. You do not need a perfectly color-coded life to feel more organized. You simply need a familiar pattern your brain can return to when interruptions happen.
Let’s partner together because momming is not easy, but it’s way harder when you keep trying to do it alone. This is your reset… it’s time to pop in your ear pods, drop the stress, and let’s get stacking.

Hey Momma, have you ever felt like you’ve completely lost confidence in yourself? Like you can’t trust yourself to follow through anymore because life feels too overwhelming and chaotic all the time?
In this episode, I’m talking about why overwhelmed moms don’t need more pressure, perfection, or complicated routines, they need simple habits they can actually sustain. I’m sharing how seasons of motherhood can slowly disconnect us from ourselves, why tiny quick wins matter so much for rebuilding confidence, and how habit stacking can help you create proof that you are still capable even in the middle of survival mode.
Ultimately, I’m challenging you to stop underestimating the power of small habits. You do not need to completely transform your life overnight to start rebuilding momentum. You simply need to start showing up for yourself again in tiny ways that create evidence you can trust yourself to follow through.
Let’s partner together because momming is not easy, but it’s way harder when you keep trying to do it alone. This is your reset… it’s time to pop in your ear pods, drop the stress, and let’s get stacking.

Hey momma! Have you ever felt like you keep starting over with your routines? Maybe you feel frustrated because you want consistency so badly, but life keeps interrupting your momentum?
In this episode, we’re talking about why momentum in motherhood usually isn’t created through giant life overhauls… it’s created through tiny habit streaks. I’m sharing a personal summer story that made me realize both moms and kids need rhythms, structure, and small expectations to feel grounded during chaotic seasons. Learn how to choose one habit to focus on, how to track your streak, and why attaching habits to anchors already happening in your day makes them easier to maintain.
Ultimately, I’m challenging you to stop trying to overhaul your entire life overnight and instead focus on one small habit you can consistently show up for this week. Pick one pillar that matters most right now, choose one simple habit that supports it, and start building your streak one day at a time. Tiny repeated actions create momentum, and momentum creates confidence.
If you’re ready for a routine reset heading into summer, make sure you grab the Reset Planner linked in the show notes below. And if you’re looking for deeper accountability, support, and structure as you work toward your goals this summer, the Habit Stacked Life membership waitlist is now open and linked below as well.

Hey momma! Do you ever start your day with good intentions… but by midday feel completely scattered and unsure what you should even be focusing on anymore? Are you tired of feeling like your home is constantly running you instead of you running your day?
In this episode, we’re taking last week’s conversation one step further and talking about how to actually create a plan that supports your routines instead of reacting to whatever is right in front of you. I’m walking you through why mornings tend to feel more manageable than the middle of the day, how decision fatigue shows up when we don’t already have a structure to follow, and why trying to fit everything into every single day is one of the fastest ways to feel overwhelmed. We’re also diving into assigning tasks a “home” inside your week, creating routine anchors, and using intentional blocks of time to focus on one outcome at a time instead of bouncing between unfinished projects.
Ultimately, I’m challenging you to stop trying to manage everything in real time and start assigning your priorities a place inside your week. Your routines don’t need to be perfect—they need to support the season of life you’re actually living right now. One focused block with one clear outcome will always move you further than trying to tackle ten things at once.
If this episode made you realize how badly you’ve been needing structure and support inside your routines, make sure you hop on the membership waitlist so you’ll be the first to know when doors open. Let’s partner together because momming is not easy, but it’s way harder when you keep trying to do it alone. This is your reset… it’s time to pop in your ear pods, drop the stress, and let’s get stacking.

Hey momma! Do you ever feel like you spend your entire day cleaning… only for your house to look destroyed again an hour later? Have you ever wondered why organization feels so mentally exhausting even when you’re trying so hard to stay on top of things?
In this episode, we’re talking about the mental load behind keeping up with a home full of kids and why it’s not actually the cleaning itself that wears us out, it’s the constant decision fatigue. I’m sharing how quickly our homes can spiral from Cheerios on the floor to Legos all over the living room, why our brains feel stuck in “scan mode” all day long, and how trying to manage every single thing we see is actually pulling us away from the routines that matter most.
Ultimately, I’m challenging you to stop trying to manage everything all at once. Just because you see something doesn’t mean it needs your attention right now. Start paying attention to the routine you’re in, the outcome you’re working toward, and the distractions that are constantly pulling you away from it.
If you haven’t grabbed the Declutter Scorecard yet, this is the perfect episode to pair it with because we’re talking all about the mental clutter that comes from unfinished spaces and unfinished tasks. Let’s partner together because momming is not easy, but it’s way harder when you keep trying to do it alone. Are you feeling stuck in your day… like no matter how much you try, you can’t seem to follow through on the things you said you would do? Do you ever feel like your confidence has taken a hit, not because you don’t care, but because you’re not seeing yourself show up the way you want to?
In this episode, I’m walking you through how habit stacking actually rebuilds your confidence by creating small, repeatable wins inside your day. Because confidence doesn’t come from big plans or perfect routines… it comes from follow-through. I’m sharing how the simplest shifts, like attaching one small habit to something you’re already doing, can start creating proof that you are capable, consistent, and not stuck.
Ultimately, I’m challenging you to choose one small habit this week and intentionally attach it to something that’s already part of your day. Keep it simple, keep it doable, and focus on showing up consistently because that follow-through is what starts to rebuild your confidence.
Let’s partner together because momming is not easy, but it’s way harder when you keep trying to do it alone. This is your reset… it’s time to pop in your ear pods, drop the stress, and let’s get stacking.

Are you constantly feeling like your routines should be working… but somehow they keep stretching longer than they should? Have you ever noticed how one small interruption can completely throw off your flow and leave you feeling behind for the rest of the day?
In this episode, I’m walking you through what it actually means to protect the outcome of your routine instead of just focusing on the steps inside of it. Because most of the time, it’s not that your routines are wrong, it’s that they’re getting interrupted, stretched, and pulled into moments they weren’t designed to hold. We’re going to shift your focus from “doing more” or “fixing your routine” to understanding the purpose behind each routine block—and how protecting that purpose is what actually keeps you organized.
Ultimately, I’m challenging you to look at one routine in your day and ask yourself: what is the outcome this routine is meant to create? Then start paying attention to where that routine is getting interrupted or stretched beyond its purpose.
Let’s partner together because momming is not easy, but it’s way harder when you keep trying to do it alone. This is your reset… it’s time to pop in your ear pods, drop the stress, and let’s get stacking.
