Are you tired of feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, and stuck in mommy survival mode? Maybe you know what would help, but you struggle to stay consistent long enough to see any results. Do you feel guilty when you prioritize yourself instead of maintaining everyone else's expectations?

You're not alone.

Welcome to Habit Stacking Mom, the podcast that helps overwhelmed moms create consistency and confidence by organizing their habits, routines, and responsibilities more intentionally.

Hi, I'm Jess, a wife, stay-at-home mom of three girls, and creator of the Habit Stacked Life.

For years I lived in a cycle of burnout, frustration, and constantly feeling behind. I wasted time, struggled to follow through on routines, carried the mental load alone, and felt like I was always reacting to life instead of leading it.

Everything changed when I stopped trying to fix everything at once and started focusing on consistently stacking simple habits together each day. Because small habits repeated consistently create bigger results than big plans that never get implemented.

This podcast will help you create simple routines, build consistency in the areas that matter most, prioritize your health and well-being, reduce overwhelm, manage your home more intentionally, and create systems that balance the life you actually want to live.

Each week you'll learn practical strategies, habit-stacking experiments, simple planning systems, and realistic routines designed specifically for busy moms.

The goal isn't perfection. It's creating habits that help you show up with more energy, more balance, more confidence, and more consistency in the areas that matter most.

So grab your earbuds and let's get stacking.

Hey momma,
Have you ever said, “I just can’t get organized” or “I’m not an organized person”?Do you find yourself believing those old stories every time you look around your house and feel like you’re failing at keeping it together?
In this episode, we’re digging into why getting organized isn’t just about your home, it’s about your mindset. You’ll learn how to shift the way you speak to yourself, add one powerful word that changes everything, and see how your environment directly shapes your confidence and self-worth. I’m sharing how to start seeing disorganization not as a personal flaw, but as a season that’s asking for new systems and a fresh plan. Then we’ll talk about the Declutter Reset and how to use the Declutter Scorecard to find your “minimum maintainable level,” the amount of clutter you can realistically manage each week without burning out.
Ultimately, I’m challenging you to rewrite the story you’ve been telling yourself. Instead of saying, “I can’t get organized,” start saying, “I’m learning to get organized.” Take 10 minutes this week to grab your Declutter Scorecard, walk your home, and choose one small space to reset completely. Because every time you declutter a drawer, a counter, or a corner, you’re not just clearing stuff, you’re rebuilding belief in yourself.
Let’s partner together because momming is not easy, but it’s way harder when you keep trying to do it alone. I know you’re ready to put those babies to bed… It’s time to pop in your ear pods, shake up your fizz, and let’s get stacking.

Hey momma, welcome back!Have you ever noticed that you can almost predict how your day will go just by how your morning starts?Does one small thing going wrong seem to send the rest of the day into a tailspin?
In this episode, we’re diving into how your morning routine acts like a mirror showing you what’s working, what’s missing, and what your day is trying to teach you. When your morning feels rushed or chaotic, it’s not just a “you problem.” It’s feedback. It’s your system showing you where to look.
I’ll walk you through how to use your morning as a diagnostic tool, how to take notes on what feels scattered, recognize where your resets are falling short, and learn how to make simple tweaks that create flow instead of frustration. You’ll also learn how to track what you walk back into after drop-off and how to start stacking your day based on the smoothness of your morning.
Ultimately, I’m challenging you to start watching your morning instead of judging it.Notice what feels rushed, what feels peaceful, and what could be adjusted the night before.Because the smoother your morning becomes, the clearer your next steps get, one intentional tweak at a time.
Let’s partner together because momming is not easy, but it’s way harder when you keep trying to do it alone.I know you’re ready to put those babies to bed...It’s time to pop in your ear pods, shake up your fizz, and let’s get stacking.

Hey Momma!
Does it feel like your schedule is running you instead of the other way around? Are you tired of every part of your day bleeding into the next: where morning, midday, and bedtime all blur together until you’re completely drained?
In this episode, let's go back to basics and breaks down how habit stacking actually repairs your schedule from overwhelm.  Why most moms don’t need more time, they need more rhythm, and how creating simple two-step stacks helps the brain rebuild structure from the inside out.
Hear I was stuck in the “schedule spiral” with my pretty planner color-coded everything but couldn’t follow through because my brain had no consistent cues to rely on. Notice small patterns and pair simple habits: like pour coffee → unload dishwasher helps your brain rebuild predictability and calm.
Habit stacking gives your brain structure, reduces decision fatigue, and replaces chaos with clarity. You’ll leave this episode knowing how to recognize your own patterns and start creating small, repeatable habits that make your schedule feel manageable again.
Find the moment that always feels overwhelming, choose a simple cue that already exists in your day, and layer one habit on top of it. Because when your brain feels predictable, your day feels peaceful and that’s how habit stacking repairs your rhythm.

Hey Momma — do your evenings ever feel like one giant blur of chaos?Do you wish you could end the day feeling calm, not cluttered — knowing your space, mind, and schedule are actually ready for tomorrow?
In this episode, we’re diving into how to declutter your evening routine and reset your daily habits so your nights feel peaceful and your mornings finally start smooth.  The evening is the true “handoff block” between one day and the next when you can either spiral in chaos or create calm.
You’ll learn how to simplify your nightly flow, use the 1410 Formula to decide what actually belongs in your routine, and build a simple 3-step reset that helps you close the day with intention instead of exhaustion.
Identify where your evenings are too cluttered, what habits create calm, and how to reset your mind and environment so you end your day in control, not behind.
Ultimately, I challenge you to declutter your evening routine this week.Write down every task you try to do after dinner, circle the three that actually help you feel calm and prepared for tomorrow, and practice that simple stack each night.Remember: the goal isn’t perfection — it’s peace.
Let’s partner together because momming is not easy but it’s way harder when you keep trying to do it alone.I know you’re ready to put those babies to bed… it’s time to pop in your ear pods, shake up your fizz, and let’s get stacking. 💪✨

Hey Momma!
Do you ever feel like your needs always come last? What would change if you put boundaries in place that actually protected your health, your routines, and your habits?
In this episode, I’m sharing why boundaries aren’t selfish, they’re essential.  Boundaries protect your health by keeping your sleep, nutrition, and energy a priority. They protect your time so routines can actually happen. And most importantly, they protect your identity so you don’t lose yourself in the shuffle of motherhood.
We’ll walk through the different types of boundaries: time, health, environmental, and relational and talk about how they create the space where your habits can thrive.
Ultimately, I’m challenging you to put one clear boundary in place this week. Whether it’s protecting your bedtime, saying no to one more commitment, or carving out a daily reset time, choose one and keep it. Boundaries are the guardrails that keep your habits steady and your identity intact.
Let’s partner together because momming is not easy, but it's way harder when you keep trying to do it alone. I know you're ready to put those babies to bed.... It's time to pop in your ear pods, shake up your fizz and let’s get stacking.

Hey Momma, do you ever feel like you’re busy all day long but still can’t point to what you actually got done? Do you find yourself multitasking to “get ahead,” only to feel more scattered and drained by the end of the day?
In this episode, I’m breaking down why multitasking is actually breaking your plan and leaving you overwhelmed. We’ll talk about the brain science behind scatter, how task-switching slows you down, and why your mental load feels so heavy when you’re trying to juggle everything at once. Then I’ll show you why habit stacking is far more efficient than multitasking, and how you can start building routines that give you structure instead of stress.
Ultimately, I’m challenging you to notice where multitasking sneaks in and replace it with one simple stack inside a routine block. When you practice intentional stacking, you’ll find flow instead of scatter—and finally feel like you’re running your day, not the other way around.
Let’s partner together because momming is not easy, but it’s way harder when you keep trying to do it alone. I know you’re ready to put those babies to bed… It’s time to pop in your ear pods, shake up your fizz and let’s get stacking.

Do you ever feel like your days stack up in messy, uneven blocks that don’t quite fit? Have you wished for a way to clear the clutter and get back on track before everything topples over?
In this episode, I’m sharing how motherhood is a lot like the game of Tetris. The blocks never stop falling, school drop-off, laundry, snacks, dinner, bedtime and sometimes the wrong piece drops at the wrong time. That’s where resets come in. I’ll walk you through the three resets every mom needs, daily, weekly, and mental and how each one creates the space you need to keep stacking habits and moving forward without burning out.
Ultimately, I’m challenging you to see resets not as interruptions, but as the secret move that sustains you long-term. When you learn to reorganize like Tetris, you can clear the chaos and keep playing with more peace and confidence.
Let’s partner together because momming is not easy, but it's way harder when you keep trying to do it alone. I know you're ready to put those babies to bed... It's time to pop in your ear pods, shake up your fizz and let’s get stacking.

Have you ever wondered why the tiniest windows of time in your day seem to slip away? Do you wish you could use those 5–10 minutes to get ahead instead of feeling like they disappear into scrolling or chaos?
In this episode, I’m sharing the secret power of time gaps, the hidden windows that show up in between the big pieces of your day. Whether it’s sitting in car line, waiting for dinner to finish, or those few quiet minutes when the kids finally settle, these gaps can either slip through your fingers or become small but mighty resets. I’ll show you why your brain defaults to autopilot, how to recognize these time gaps, and how to turn them into simple stacks that build momentum instead of drain your energy.
Ultimately, I’m challenging you to start noticing the gaps in your own day and choose one small reset you can anchor into that time. Those little choices will add up to a big difference in how calm and in control you feel.
Let’s partner together because momming is not easy, but it's way harder when you keep trying to do it alone. I know you're ready to put those babies to bed... It's time to pop in your ear pods, shake up your fizz and let’s get stacking.

Hey momma, do you ever feel like your carefully planned week falls apart before Monday is even over? Are you wondering why your routines never seem to stick no matter how much you plan?
In this episode, we’re uncovering the invisible habit that keeps moms running in circles—overcommitment. From school activities to sports practices to PTO requests, it’s so easy to say yes until your week is so jam-packed there’s no margin left for family dinners, self-care, or even a simple reset. I’ll share why overcommitment sneaks in under the radar and how it steals your efficiency. How important it is to keep the five non-negotiable Pillars: Core Routines, Food, Home, Self-Care, and Finance, steady when chaos is knocking. We’ll also talk about how to use your Weekly Stack Session as the cornerstone habit that protects your priorities and gives you confidence to say yes—or no—with peace.
Ultimately, I’m challenging you to pause this week and look at your calendar with fresh eyes. Write out your five non-negotiables first, then add in the extras. When you protect what matters most first, the extras finally feel like joy instead of chaos.
Let’s partner together because momming is not easy, but it's way harder when you keep trying to do it alone. I know you're ready to put those babies to bed.... It's time to pop in your ear pods, shake up your fizz and let’s get stacking.

Hey momma, are you craving calm but keep getting yanked back into chaos? What would change this week if you felt steady—even when the house didn’t?
In today’s episode, I’m sharing both a story from my own motherhood moments and a powerful tool that will help you reset with confidence and calm. You’ll hear how I went from reacting in frustration to creating a steady, safe moment for my kids—and why that shift matters not just for parenting but for your whole week. I’ll also walk you through my Calm Checklist, a short, practical guide that helps you pause before reacting so you can parent with steadiness instead of spiraling.
Ultimately, I’m challenging you to practice creating calm instead of waiting to feel it. Because when you can regulate your own emotions first, you lead from a place of confidence and clarity—and that steadiness is what makes your consequences, routines, and home rhythms actually work.
Let’s partner together because momming is not easy, but it's way harder when you keep trying to do it alone. I know you're ready to put those babies to bed.... It's time to pop in your ear pods, shake up your fizz and let’s get stacking.
